What are the contraindications applicable to using the Infrared Sauna Pod?
Persons who have any of the below contraindications should not use the Infrared Sauna Pod without first consulting your medical physician.
Pregnancy or lactating
Heart disease and/or other cardiovascular conditions
Diabetes
Using medications such as diuretics, barbiturates, anticholinergics, and/or beta blockers
Hemophiliacs/individuals prone to bleeding
Individuals with implants
Individuals with sensitive skin or poor blood circulation
Epilepsy
Active Cancer
Broken Bones or slipped disc
Outfitted with pacemaker or defibrillator
Infectious or contagious skin conditions; skin lesions, open abrasions and/or areas of inflammation
Insensitivity to heat (erythema ab igne)
How often should I use the Infrared Sauna Pod?
For best results we recommend using the Infrared Sauna Pod at least 2-3 times a week. If not, schedule when you can and you will still get great results and still see many benefits with weight loss, sculpting and pain relief.
What Do I Wear?
You can wear whatever you're comfortable in and still get great results. Keep in mind, the more surface area exposed to the red light the better. Also, you will sweat some. Most people wear very little, such as underwear, bathing suit, sports bra and shorts or nothing. You are in a private locked room.
How Long Are The Sessions?
Your sessions are scheduled for 40 minutes (10 minutes to get undressed and dressed and 30 minutes in the Infrared Sauna Pod).
Do I Need To Do Anything Special Before Or After My Sessions?
We ask that you hydrate before and after your sessions to help flush out toxins and insure against dehydration. Also, try to not to eat at least 1 hour before or after you sessions. If you can not do this, do not worry. You will still see great results but this helps to maximize your sculpting, weight loss and pain relief benefits.
